The machine typically operates on a screw press principle, where cow dung slurry is fed into a cylindrical filtering chamber and progressively compressed by a rotating screw shaft against a backpressure disc -3-5-9. As the screw conveys the material forward, the available volume decreases, forcing liquid through precision-engineered stainless steel filter screens while solids are discharged at the end -3-9. This mechanical action effectively separates approximately 60-80% of the liquid content, producing solids with moisture content below 50%.
