The function of the hydraulic filter is to filter various impurities in the hydraulic oil. The main sources of impurities are:
Mechanical impurities remaining in the hydraulic system after cleaning, such as rust, cast sand, welding slag, iron filings, paint, paint and cotton yarn, etc., external impurities entering the hydraulic system, such as through the fuel filler and dust ring Ingress of dust; impurities generated during the working process, such as debris formed by hydraulic action of the seal, movement of metal powder caused by relative wear, colloid, asphaltene, carbon residue, etc. of oil due to oxidative deterioration.

After the above impurities are mixed into the hydraulic oil, with the circulation of the hydraulic oil, the damage will be everywhere, which seriously affects the normal operation of the hydraulic system, such as making a small gap (in μm) and section between the relatively moving parts in the hydraulic component. The small holes and gaps are stuck or blocked; the oil film between the moving parts is destroyed, the gap surface is scratched, the internal leakage is increased, the efficiency is lowered, the heat is increased, the chemical action of the oil is aggravated, and the oil is deteriorated.
